Rebas' Adventure in Ozzieland

It has turned cold this week. Winter is finally here. it is about 65°F (19°C) during the day with a low of 45°F (7°C) at night. I know that doesn’t sound all that cold by Seattle area standards, but coming from months and months of days and nights that never went below 80°F it is pretty chilly. Also I do not have a winter coat here and my house doesn’t have central heating. We have a space heater for the lounge (living room) and it keeps me toasty while I watch TV, other than that I keep a sweater on at all times. I had a fun weekend. On Friday night I had dinner at my friend Sherifah’s house. You can see the pictures of her kids, so cute! you can see her husband in the background. I only took a picture of Sharifah as I was leaving because she did not wear her Hijab (head scarf) in the house. I have been really popular with kids this week. Sharifah’s daughter, Ira, wanted to sit next to me at dinner (a rare compliment apparently) and both kids wanted to show me all their toy’s and play with them. And then on Sunday the Rowbottom‘s girls were climbing all over me and giving me lots of attention. What can I say, kids love me. I am crazy busy right now with school which is good, but also the reason the post is so late and so short. More soon, Bye!
